CHILDREN COGNITION

I AM CHOOSING CHILDREN COGNITION SEE BELOW FOR IT. BECAUSE I HAVE TWINS TODDLER I WANT TO KNOW MORE (PLS INCLUDE) Research Draft #1 (and there is going to be draft 1 to 4 so I will need same person for all 4) Research Paper Proposal For this assignment, please answer the following questions in full sentences. Submit your response to the Research Paper Draft #1 Discussion. 1. Topic of Paper: What subject will you be investigating? What specific question are you addressing? Will you be focusing on a specific age group or all ages? 2. Potential Source: Using the FRCC library databases, find one full text scholarly article that you would potentially like to use for your paper. You are not required to use this article in your final paper, but it should be one that you think could be useful. For this source, please do the following: a. Type an APA style citation of the research article b. Give a brief summary of the topic of the article (aim for a paragraph). Please include the following in your synopsis: i. Purpose/Research Question 1. What was the study attempting to explain/understand? 2. What were the variables in the experiment (IV/DV)? 3. What was the hypothesis? ii. I will provide you feedback and advice based on this assignment. With your feedback, I will let you know if your proposal is approved or not. I may ask you to revise or refine your ideas prior to approval. Once your idea is approved, you need to talk to me before revising your to Cognition Children’s Art : What are the theories that attemptto explain the sequence of children’s art? Which aspects are universal and developmental, and which seem to be tied to culture and personality of the child? What function does art play in children’s lives, as development of motor skills and developmentof emotional expression increase?IQ:Does intelligence decline during adulthood?Look at arguments for and against this claim. Are IQ tests biased?Measuring Intelligence: What are the assumptions and theories underlying various tests of intelligence? Can tests be culture free? Language Acquisition: What are the universal similarities and individual differences in language acquisition? How does language acquisition relate to later intellectual developmen Content the scientific research from one journal article accurately, Writing is well organized, logical and sequential. Research is used to support your ideas. Conclusion Include APA style rferences for your textbook (if used), internet site (if used) and your journal article Research instruction The core of the paper (2 pages) must be a discussion of the scientific evidence. Use your journal article for this portion of the paper. Try to choose an article that has been published in the past five years. If you have difficulty finding a source, please contact me or an FRCC librarian, use the resources on D2L. While reviewing your articles, make sure you clearly describe (1) the topic of the research being reported, (2) the research methods used (and how these methods may have affected the results), (3) the researchers’ conclusions, and (4) questions raised by the research. In the last paragraph (conclusion, no more than ½ page in length) of the research section, you should summarize the research findings and briefly state how the research relates to the topic of your paper. Good examples of how research can be used to support a discussion are given throughout your textbook. d. References. The journal article (and textbook or internet article if used) used for your paper should be listed alphabetically in the references section at the end (see the example on D2L). This reference page needs to be in APA style form sample work of my school mate Development of Deaf Children I will be investigating the Development of Deaf Children. I will be focusing on the trace of deaf children from birth to elementary school ages. I chose this topic because my younger sister is deaf. I believe that the first two years is a crucial time for language and cognition for all children. During the first two years, it is when deaf and hard of hearing children do with and some without processes that promote healthy language development. My sister was born deaf. The otoacoustic emissions test was performed on my sister. Since she failed the test at birth, my mom was sent to an audiologist with her. Since they caught hearing loss at birth, she was able to get all the care she needed. At six weeks old, she started school to work on her sign language and hearing. To this day, my sister\'s audiologist says because my mom got my sister the intervention she needed right away; her speech is so much better than expected. The article “What Really Matters in the Early Literacy Development of Deaf Children” states that with early identification of hearing loss, deaf children will develop the same education abilities as their hearing age peers. It is conveyed that for deaf and hard of hearing children, there are usually challenges to be addressed since there is a learning condition between those who can hear and those who cannot. The articles hypothesis focuses on ways deaf children set apart from hearing children. It is focused more on the third stage of early literacy development “in the critical move from emergent to conventional literacy”. The article reconsiders what truly matters in early education development of deaf children. Furthermore, the article describes how Mayer and Wells (1996) provide a framework for recognizing the relationship of language and literacy in the development of both hearing and non-hearing children. The framework is used to notify how early literacy is positioned with respect to the development of face-to-face language and the development of reading and writing. Olsons (1994) model has been used as framework to objectify the challenge young deaf children face in learning to read and write. In conclusion, evidence says there is little to no difference between the groups. The article states “an argument has been made that young deaf literacy learners are no different in this regard and that what really matters for them in the early stages of literacy learning is not very different from what matters for their hearing peers”. I believe this article ties to my paper topic in many ways. I believe that non hearing children and hearing children are similar in their literacy development. Early intervention, like what my sister had, helps non-hearing children in many ways. It gets them the help they need to succeed in learning how to read and write. \'m excited to do more research on the topic. Mayer, C. (2007).
